Conference Description

It has been more than a hundred years since General Relativity has been proposed as a theory to explain gravity. In its classical form, it is the main accepted gravitational theory in the scientific community and has since been extensively tested, experimentally verified on many levels, and thoroughly explored mathematically. Yet, there remains fundamental open questions regarding the mathematical model of its most exotic predicted objects - Black Holes.

The purpose of this gathering is to bring together mathematicians and physicists in order to explore and review the progress on the mathematical aspects of black holes and the major conjectures associated with them (stability, cosmic censorship, etc.).

It will take place from Monday (afternoon) 5th to Wednesday (noon) 7th of February at the Institut Fourier, Université Grenoble Alpes.

Lunch and conference dinner on Tuesday, as well as a Buffet lunch on Wednesday, are included for all participants.

We look forward to seeing you in Grenoble!

Organisers: Dietrich Häfner, Olivier Graf, Mokdad Mokdad
